Prophet Melvin Bynes was born in Jenkins County to the late Mr. & Mrs.Valder Bynes Sr. At the age of 15, he attended True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center under the ministry of Apostle Richard Walthour. While under the ministry of Apostle Walthour, Prophet Bynes accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and received the Holy Ghost. The Lord called him to the ministry in 1975. He has been pastoring for 36 years. To God be the glory for the great things He has done. May God continue to bless you.

Evangelist Carlene Bynes

Evangelist Carlene Bynes was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. James Williams of Statesboro, Georgia. At the age of 17, she attended Holy Zion Holiness where she received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and the Holy Ghost under the ministry of the late Bishop Talmadge Wilder. In the year of 1975, God called her into the ministry as an Evangelist. In 1976, she was united in marriage to Prophet Melvin Bynes. She is now assisting Prophet Bynes as the Assistant Pastor of True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center-Statesboro.
